accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen data-no-lazy=\"1\" data-skipgform_ajax_framebjll=\"\"><\/iframe><\/div><\/div><\/figure><\/div>\n<p>A large exhibit of the groundbreaking work being done at the University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Hilo <a href=\"https:\/\/imiloahawaii.org\/\"><span aria-label=\"Imiloa\">&#699;Imiloa<\/span> Astronomy Center<\/a> on <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Island greeted hundreds of astronomers from around the country as part of the 235th <a href=\"https:\/\/aas.org\/\">American Astronomical Society<\/a> meeting in January.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting of more than 3,000 scientists, engineers and students was held at the <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Convention Center. <span aria-label=\"Imiloa\">&#699;Imiloa<\/span> focuses on educating the public on parallels between Hawaiian culture and western science.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It isn\u2019t just western science, but it\u2019s this whole richness that comes particularly with Hawaiian culture bringing the two together and demonstrating that they can be together and work together and bring a richer understanding,&rdquo;
