Local T.V.<\/abbr> shows Mixed Plate Minute with Pamela Young<\/em> and Sam Choy\u2019s In the Kitchen<\/em> feature the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at M\u0101noa\u2019s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources<\/a> (CTAHR<\/abbr>) staff and their aesthetically pleasing ingredients.<\/p>\n

For an entire season, Chef Sam Choy invited himself into families\u2019 homes all over Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> to cook dishes with their leftovers while incorporating ingredients produced by CTAHR<\/abbr> to save the meal.<\/p>\n

Host Pamela Young also interviewed CTAHR<\/abbr>\u2019s Ted Radovich<\/strong>, Jari Sugano<\/strong> and others for segments within Sam Choy\u2019s show.<\/p>\n

KHON<\/abbr> staff, host families and the shows extend their thanks to the CTAHR<\/abbr> ʻohana<\/span> for helping in the success of the shows.<\/p>\n

CTAHR<\/abbr>\u2019s newsletter says, “Much work went into the planning, coordination, planting, and harvesting to ensure that Sam always had the freshest, most aesthetically pleasing ingredients—as KHON<\/abbr> staff and the host families will attest.”<\/p>\n
