A unique study led by the University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Cancer Center<\/a> and the University of Southern California<\/a> is analyzing the connection between breast cancer and body weight by tracking more than 200,000 people in Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span><\/p>\n

The study began 20 years ago in 1993 and involves women in five ethnic groups, including African Americans, Caucasians, Hawaiians, Japanese and Latinos. Featured in the International Journal of Cancer<\/em>, the study’s results help to validate the link between obesity and cancer.<\/p>\n
