The Rainbow Wahine earn their ninth Big West Conference title.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> women\u2019s volleyball team won the Big West Conference title with a three-set sweep over Long Beach State on Friday night at a sold out Stan Sheriff Center. The Rainbow Wahine won the sets with scores of 25-18, 25-12 and 25-20. Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> improved to 24-3 overall and 14-2 in the Big West to capture their first title since 2016.<\/p>\n

Friday night was also Senior Night as the \u2019Bows honored their five seniors—Bailey Choy<\/strong>, Norene Iosia<\/strong>, Rika Okino<\/strong>, McKenna Ross<\/strong> and Kirsten Sibley<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The game marked Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>\u2019s ninth Big West title and fifth since rejoining the Big West in 2012. It is UH<\/abbr>\u2019s 24th overall conference title and the first conference crown for Head Coach Robyn Ah Mow<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Rainbow Wahine finished the season winning their last 11-straight matches. UH<\/abbr>\u2019s 24 wins is also the most for Ah Mow in a season since 2015 after earning 20 wins in 2017 and 18 victories last year.<\/p>\n
