The exhibit is on display at Hamilton Library&#8217;s Bridge Gallery through December 14, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>With the long-distance paddling season coming to a close, marked by the Na Wahine o ke Kai and <span aria-label=\"Molokai>Moloka&#699;i<\/span> Hoe races, the exhibit celebrates <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span>&#8217;s paddling traditions and honors those water men and women who perpetuate this ocean heritage.<\/p>\n<p>The Hoena Wale N&#333; exhibit is organized into five sections:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I ka <span aria-label=\"waa\">wa&#699;a<\/span> kahiko&#8212;Of the ancient canoe\n<\/li>\n<li>E lauhoe mai na <span aria-label=\"waa\">wa&#699;a<\/span>&#8212;Paddle together\n<\/li>\n<li>Na <span aria-label=\"waa\">wa&#699;a<\/span> noa&#8212;New paddling traditions\n<\/li>\n<li>Na kanaka o ke kai&#8212;People of the water\n<\/li>\n<li><span aria-label=\"Hoike\">Ho&#699;ike hoena&#8212;Paddling competitions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The exhibit is free and open to the public.
