Eddie Palmieri leads the renowned Eddia Palmieri\/Brian Lynch Quartet <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa’s Outreach College<\/a> invites the public to the 5th annual Mānoa Jazz and Heritage Festival on October 6, 6 p.m. at Andrews Ampitheatre. Enjoy an evening of music from the best local professional and educational jazz groups paired with this year’s featured guest artist, the Eddie Palmieri-Brian Lynch Quartet.<\/p>\n

In an unprecedented small group setting for “The Sun Of Latin Music” Palmieri, the quartet is the latest manifestation of the 20-plus-year musical relationship between Lynch and Palmieri and their collaboration for their Grammy Award winning CD<\/abbr> The Brian Lynch\/Eddie Palmieri Project: Simptico<\/em>. Two of the most accomplished musicians around today, Lynch and Palimieri are accompanied by bassist Luques Curtis and Grammy nominated drummer\/composer Dafnis Prieto.<\/p>\n

The Mānoa Jazz and Heritage Festival is a University of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> at Mānoa Outreach College production and part of a Performing Arts Presenters of Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> tour sponsored in part by Baus Engineering and the Mānoa Arts and Minds Series, with funding provided by the City and County of Honolulu, Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> Tourism Authority and the Â鶹´«Ã½<\/span> State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.<\/p>\n
