The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> Board of Regents<\/a> (BOR<\/abbr>) is expected to consider a motion to “Appoint a Permitted Interaction Group to Investigate Issues and Make Recommendations Related to Maunakea Governance.” The item is on the BOR<\/abbr>\u2019s August 2 agenda. [Editor’s note<\/strong><\/em>, 8\/2\/2019: The board approved the appointment of the Permitted Interaction Group.] The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. in the UH<\/abbr> Mānoa Information Technology Building, first floor conference room 105A\/B. Other items under consideration, following the election of the new board leadership last month, are new committee structures and related proposed amendments to policies and bylaws.<\/p>\n
