The agreement allows the Waik¨©k¨© Aquarium to continue to conduct research and educate residents and visitors.
Participants will enjoy cultural entertainment and interactive virtual educational activities from a variety of organizations.
The celebration includes special promotions and a birthday beach clean up on Friday, March 19.
Volunteer efforts by these clean water heroes include creating awareness of storm water pollution and water quality issues in streams and the ocean.
The decision was made following the county¡¯s most recent ¡°Act Now Honolulu¡± order.
The colonies included a purple branching coral that was unlike any native branching corals observed in the main Hawaiian Islands.
Participants can submit their best photos of ocean views and marine sanctuaries for a chance to win prizes.

Healthcare workers and their immediate family members are welcome to visit the aquarium at no charge during the week of June 22-28.
