The School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene received $150,000 from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to support the Future of Nursing Scholars program.
This scholarship supports full-time and part-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree or certificate in vocational/technical education studies.
The grant will help promote the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Promise program and develop support and outreach systems for returning adults to finish their degrees.
Highlights include Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Promise, TMT decision and stewardship of Maunakea and more.
Coming from the University of Sydney, he will also assume the title of UH vice president of advancement.
