UH Foundation raises more than $100M

$32 million—about one-third—of funds raised went to student financial aid.

Carl Bonham said HMSA and UHERO share a common vision, where data, research and analysis drive policy to improve the lives of 麻豆传媒’s people.

The University of 麻豆传媒 at 惭ā苍辞补 will conduct ocean health research with a $50 million gift from Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg.

A classroom in the new RISE building will be named in honor of Walter Dods.

Both of their fathers were the first in their families to graduate from college and both graduated from UH.

UH researchers received support of more than $7 million from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.

The student learning center at JABSOM will also be dedicated to the memory of the late Max Botticelli.

The gift from Island Insurance is the fourth major gift toward the UH Foundation’s goal of raising $3 million to fund the RISE project.

The money raised came from 1,209 donors, more than tripling the efforts of the inaugural UH Giving Tuesday last year.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the UH Foundation’s Direct Admit Program scholarship fund as part of “Giving Tuesday.”
