Shidler student leadership center unveiled, funded by $250K gift

The blessing ceremony was held January 6.

Students had the opportunity to meet, thank and share with the donors about how their gifts have impacted their education.

The 219 fully furnished single and double rooms are available to lease now for fall 2023 on RISE’s website.

Since 2013, the nonprofit organization has given a total of $445,000 to support cancer research at UH.

Former 麻豆传媒 Congresswoman Patsy Mink co-authored the landmark Title IX of the U.S. Educational Amendments of 1972 legislation.

The funds raised student programs and scholarships, faculty research, alumni outreach and special programs.
