Honolulu CC’s Ho?olaule?a commemorates Hawaiian culture, sustainability

The theme for this year’s celebration was Kanu ʻia Ka Huli, Ulu Ka ʻāina (planting seeds and cultivating the environment).

The “Haʻina Ko Wehi: Celebrating West Maui in Mele” course will be offered in the fall 2023 semester, with seats limited to 12 students.

Limu (algae) research and jobs expected to be generated with a new $3.5 million grant.

The café is now available to students at Leeward CC, 麻豆传媒 CC, Windward CC and UH 惭ā苍辞补 with other campuses onboaring soon.

Hundred of 麻豆传媒 residents have enrolled in the UH Community College’s free collaborative workforce training initiative.
