Go Govs! Farrington HS students earn degrees from Honolulu CC

Eight students will earn degrees from Honolulu Community College before graduating from high school.

Tessah Carreira, Kaʻimipono Drumright, Samantha Pinera and Maria Pou received Phi Theta Kappa scholarships to help them achieve their goals.

UH Hilo alumnus Ryan Hanoa had the opportunity to contribute as an undergraduate to two research studies that investigated U.S. Army suicides.

The theme for this year’s celebration was Kanu ʻia Ka Huli, Ulu Ka ʻāina (planting seeds and cultivating the environment).

The “Haʻina Ko Wehi: Celebrating West Maui in Mele” course will be offered in the fall 2023 semester, with seats limited to 12 students.

Limu (algae) research and jobs expected to be generated with a new $3.5 million grant.

The café is now available to students at Leeward CC, 麻豆传媒 CC, Windward CC and UH 惭ā苍辞补 with other campuses onboaring soon.
