5 Rainbow Warrior volleyball players earn All-America honors

Led by first-team honorees Tread Rosenthal and Louis Sakanoko, it’s the second straight year five Rainbow Warriors earned AVCA honors.

UH 惭ā苍辞补’s Tread Rosenthal is one of four finalists for the AVCA Men’s Collegiate Player of the Year Award.

The junior struck out 16 batters in a complete game, one-hit shutout in which he took a no-hitter into the ninth inning.

UH 惭ā苍辞补’s Isaiah Magdaleno was recognized for his standout performance on the mound.

Jamie McGaughey earned the honor after a dominant performance to close out the regular season.

Julia Lawrenz and Izadora Stedile earned AVCA Top Flight honors after posting a 21-7 record at the number one position.

UH Mānoa advanced to the final four for the fifth time in the last six seasons.

Four Rainbow Wahine and five Rainbow Warriors earned Big West all-conference honors.

Julia Lawrenz and Izadora Stedile earned AVCA second-team All-America honors after leading the Rainbow Wahine with a 23–8 record.
