UH 惭ā苍辞补 Athletics maintains Big West membership for four teams

This agreement ensures continued competitive opportunities for these programs while strengthening their long-term stability.

The UH 惭ā苍辞补 women's volleyball team's season came to an end on December 5, with a 25-17, 25-18, 25-22 loss to Texas Christian University.

Nalani Damacion, Jacey Jicha, Kennedy Justin, Alice Davidson and Brynn Mitchell earned United Soccer Coaches All-West Region honors.

Caylen Alexander, Kate Lang, Tayli Ikenaga, Miliana Sylvester, Jacyn Bamis and Tali Hakas recognized for their outstanding performances.

Coach Timmy Chang received a one-year extension through the 2026 season following a strong third year, to build and recruit to the team.

Cam Stone was named to the first team; Lucas Borrow, Ka‘ena Decambra, Peter Manuma, Elijah Palmer and Elijah Robinson received honorable mention.

The team begins its NCAA Tournament journey on December 5, facing TCU in Eugene, Oregon.

The Rainbow Wahine earned the Big West’s automatic NCAA Tournament bid with a 25-19, 25-19, 27-29 and 25-22 victory.

UH swimmers Catherine Belyakov and Karol Ostrowski earned Big West Athlete of the Week honors this week.
