The new, systemwide student-success initiative is aimed at closing achievement gaps and improving student retention and timely graduation rates.
The cuts from varies agencies have disrupted critical research programs and forced the university to adjust its operations and future planning.

Thousands of proud family members, friends, faculty and staff cheered as the 2,319 undergraduates and 538 graduate students received their degrees.
Hensel delivered the keynote address at the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Maui College spring commencement, encouraging graduates to embrace change, find joy in their journey, and stay true to themselves.
