Enrollment up at UH¡¯s 10 campuses, surpasses 50K

Thousands are expected to attend the Discover Âé¶¹´«Ã½²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ Open House that will feature hundreds of booths, tours, interactive displays and more.
UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ is also welcoming a record high 3,123 first-time freshmen in fall 2024, the 3rd straight year, the university has reached 3,000 or more freshmen.
President David Lassner provided updates on UH support for Lahainaluna High School students, 2024 fall enrollment and philanthropic fundraising.
Haley Taylor, a communication major in the College of Social Sciences, worked as a tour guide in the UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ Office of Admissions for three years.
The application deadline for new on-campus housing has also been extended to June 1.
President Lassner also covered extramural funding.
There are 48,933 credit student enrollments at UH campuses, 560 more than a year ago.
UH Mānoa and UH West Oʻahu have waived their application fee starting this year.
The second year of the campaign premiered on October 11 and will run through March 2024.
