3 Rainbow Warriors earn all-conference honors ahead of Big West tourney

It’s the second straight year that three Rainbow Warriors earned Big West accolades.

UH will enter the Hercules Tires Big West Championships as the two-time defending champions and the No. 1 seed in the women’s bracket.

Concluding the season with a 20–9 and 17–3, while Beeman reaches a career record of 200–157.

Patsy Dung was hired by UH women’s athletic director Donnis Thompson in 1974 to lead the university’s newly established women’s basketball program.

UH 惭ā苍辞补 setter Tread Rosenthal was named the Big West's Freshman of the Week.

UH Manoa guard Daejah Phillips was named the Big West women's basketball Player of the Week on February 26.

UH 惭ā苍辞补 men’s basketball player Justin McKoy earned Big West Player of the Week honors.

UH Hilo basketball players Kamalu Kamakawiwoole and Charles Elzie III were selected as the KTA Super Stores Superstars of January.

Daejah Phillips ranks second on the team in points per game but leads UH with 44 assists and 30 steals.
