Windward Community College will host the Koʻolau Career Expo on March 31, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Hale ʻĀkoakoa, bringing together 50+ employers from across Hawaiʻi and connecting students, alumni and community members with higher paying career opportunities.

The expo focuses on career-track positions starting around $40,000 and above, offering attendees the opportunity to explore pathways across a range of industries, meet directly with employers, and build connections that can lead to employment.

Community members are encouraged to attend. Those interested can also submit a resume by March 24 to be included in an employer resume portfolio shared with participating organizations.

“We know the cost of living continues to be a challenge for many families on the windward side, and events like the KoÊ»olau Career Expo are one way we can help connect people with career opportunities,” said HaÊ»a Pagan, career and transfer counselor and event organizer. “The expo brings our community and employers together in one place, giving job seekers the chance to ask questions, make real connections, and learn about careers across many industries. Sometimes one conversation at an event like this can open the door to a future someone never thought possible.”

Participating employers represent a wide range of sectors, including government agencies, healthcare, education, public safety and private industry. Attendees will also have access to resources such as resume preparation and interview support leading up to the event.

“Windward CC’s commitment to our students and community is bigger than our classrooms and doesnÊ»t stop at the graduation stage,” said Chancellor Ardis Eschenberg. “Windward CC is committed to growing the waiwai (wealth) of our community through providing education and opportunity. The KoÊ»olau Career Expo brings together our community with employers so both can benefit and grow the waiwai of the KoÊ»olau. Come and consider your next career step!”
