The University of Â鶹´«Ã½ Rainbow Wahine duo Julia Lawrenz and Izadora Stedile were named the Big West Conference Pairs Team of the Week after a standout performance at the Heineken Queen’s Cup.
It marks the first career weekly honor for the pair and the first time a Â鶹´«Ã½ duo has received the recognition this season.
The duo went a perfect 6-0 during the three-day tournament while playing all six matches at the top position. Lawrenz and Stedile now hold a team-best 8-2 record this season.
The Rainbow Wahine will travel for its first road trip of the year to compete in the East Meets West Invitational, March 13–14, in California.
