The University of Â鶹´«Ã½ has launched the (OSPP), a new systemwide resource designed to expand and coordinate opportunities with corporate, foundation and non-government funders.

Created in collaboration with the , OSPP is comprised of staff from , (OVPRS), (OVPRI) and . The office will serve as a central hub for faculty and researchers seeking philanthropic support and assist in:

  • Identifying funding opportunities
  • Streamlining proposal processes
  • Strengthening connections between UH experts and external partners

“This office gives our faculty and researchers better support in pursuing philanthropic opportunities so they can focus more on advancing their work,” said UH Interim Vice President for Research and Innovation Chad Walton.

By aligning efforts across UH¡¯s 10 campuses, colleges and departments, OSPP aims to increase efficiency in pursuing philanthropic support and ensure the university can respond more effectively to complex funding opportunities. The office will also serve as a single point of contact for prospective funders, making it easier to connect with UH leadership, programs and researchers.

“By aligning our efforts, we can create more meaningful and lasting relationships with funders who want to make a difference in Â鶹´«Ã½ and beyond,” said UH Foundation CEO and UH Vice President of Advancement Tim Dolan.

The new initiative reflects UH¡¯s commitment to advancing its teaching, research and service mission through stronger partnerships with organizations that share its goals. The office will focus on building long-term relationships with funders while supporting faculty and staff in securing resources to drive innovation, address community needs and create opportunities for students.
