The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ celebrates Earth Week with a variety of events and opportunities to learn about and support the planet and the communities that live on it.

April 22, 10 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Campus Center Courtyard
Come learn about how you can get involved this Earth Day

Campus Arboretum Appreciation Day
April 23, 9–11 a.m., Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Hall
In partnership with the UH Campus Arboretum, we are weeding, planting natives and learning about how we can celebrate trees, and those that take care of trees, all year long.

Mahina Honua X PACE Sustainability Entrepreneur Panel
April 23, 4:30–6:30 p.m., PACE@RISE
In partnership with PACE and sponsored by the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Leadership Forum, hear from entrepreneurs and experts leading the way in sustainability in Âé¶¹´«Ã½ and gain insights into building a more mindful and responsible future. Panelists include: Jeff Mikulina (Climate and Social Impact Strategist), Quinn Vittum (Executive Director, Re-use Âé¶¹´«Ã½), Danielle Bass (State Sustainability Coordinator, State of Âé¶¹´«Ã½) and Justin Udom (Founder and Owner, Pop Culture Artisan Pops)

(Re)use and Swap Shop
April 24, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., Campus Center Courtyard
Bring items you want to give new life or just no longer have need for and members of the Student Sustainability Council (SSC) will show you how to repair, reuse or recycle your old stuff. We have mending/repair tools and volunteers on hand to help you learn how to upgrade your stuff instead of adding it to the waste stream. SSC will also be accepting donations of clothing and items for our next item swap on May 7.

Trivia Night!
April 25, 5 p.m. Gilmore Hall 306
In partnership with the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Botanical Society and Ka Mea Kolo Entomology Club, celebrate Earth Week and Native Hawaiian Plant Month by teaming up and showing off your trivia skills!

UH Community M¨¡lama ʻ?ina for Earth Day
April 27, 9 a.m.–12 p.m., St. John Plant Science
Hosted by the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Botanical Society in partnership with the UH Campus Arboretum. Get outside and m¨¡lama the ʻ¨¡ina you see every day! Learn about the plants, buildings, and spaces on campus and see why UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ is considered one of the most beautiful campuses in the world!
