9 Âé¶¹´«Ã½athletes and CSC Academic All District graphic

Nine University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ student-athletes have been selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic At-Large All-District Team.

The honorees are:

  • ¡¯Eleu Choy, civil engineering (men¡¯s volleyball)
  • Alana Embry, psychology (beach volleyball)
  • Kaylee Glagau, BA social work (beach volleyball)
  • Josh Hayashida, finance (men¡¯s golf)
  • Tara Logan, kinesiology and rehab sciences (water polo)
  • Bia Mantellato Dias, marketing (water polo)
  • Tyler Ogawa, finance (men¡¯s golf)
  • Jaime Santer, BS marketing (beach volleyball)
  • Riley Wagoner, BS chemistry; BA women, gender and sexuality studies (beach volleyball)

In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) at his or her current institution. All student-athletes who meet the requirements can be named to the at-large all-district team, however schools are limited to just six male and six female honorees. At-large candidates come from a pool of more than a dozen NCAA-sponsored sports, which includes men¡¯s volleyball, women¡¯s beach volleyball, women¡¯s water polo and men¡¯s and women¡¯s golf at UH.
