
alumnae and three-time U.S. Olympic team teammates Robyn Ah Mow and Heather Bown were officially inducted into USA Volleyball¡¯s Hall of Fame at its annual banquet on May 22, in Columbus, Ohio. The pair were announced as the 2024 USA Volleyball All-Time Great Female Indoor Athlete award winners earlier this year.
To receive the All-Time Great Player Award, an athlete must have completed a minimum of five years as a member of a U.S. national team and on a minimum of five top-level international teams.
Robyn Ah Mow

Ah Mow, the current Rainbow Wahine head coach, is a three-time Olympic setter (2000, ¡¯04 and ¡¯08) who made her debut with the Women¡¯s National Team in 1999. Ah Mow played at UH, 1993–96, earning AVCA All-America First Team honors in 1995 and ¡¯96, and was a three-time all-conference honoree. As coach, she has led the ¡®Bows to four-straight Big West titles and six-straight NCAA appearances with an overall career record of 132-45.
Heather Bown
Bown is a three-time Olympic middle blocker (2000, ¡¯04 and ¡¯08) who first played for the U.S. Women¡¯s National Team in 1999. She earned AVCA All-America First Team honors in both of her years as a Rainbow Wahine, and was twice voted WAC Player of the Year (1998, ¡¯99). She is still ranked No. 1 in UH history with 1.95 blocks per set, No. 4 in hitting percentage and No. 5 with 4.42 kills/set.
