All 10 UH campuses will be closed Monday, August 17. The closure follows Gov. Josh Green¡¯s announcement that state, county offices and public schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala.
Students and employees should look for campus-specific messages with additional information on operations, employee reporting and any other exceptions.

Sakanoko comes up big, earns Big West¡¯s Freshman of the Week

Louis Sakanoko

player Louis Sakanoko was named Big West¡¯s Freshman of the Week after a sensational performance in a five-set loss to Long Beach State on March 16. This is his second award of the season.

Sakanoko entered the match during Set 2 and finished with career highs of 19 kills, 40 attempts, nine digs and three blocks. He also had one ace and hit for .250. He posted 10 kills alone and set four.
