President David Lassner shared recent studies and data points that highlighted the value and affordability of the University of Hawai?i¡¯s 10-campuses in his President?s Report to the Board of Regents (BOR) at the February 16 BOR monthly meeting at UH Hilo. Lassner cited a January UHERO report on the significant return on investment for a UH degree and how UH tuition has actually decreased over the last decade when adjusted for inflation. He also cited a recent national report that found that UH is among the nation’s best community college transfer students who go on to earn their bachelor’s degree.

Lassner also recognized UH Hilo¡¯s Shannon Asejo, the winner of the President¡¯s Award for Excellence in Building and Grounds Maintenance.
