President David Lassner provided a detailed update on the university¡¯s ongoing response to the devastating Maui wildfires, including providing disaster funding for impacted Âé¶¹´«Ã½students from Maui, scholarships for Lahainaluna High School students and the important work UH researchers are doing to support the community at the September 21 Board of Regents (BOR) meeting at Leeward Community College.

Lassner also reported that enrollment in fall 2023 is up, provided the latest update on the SCR 201 Tenure Task Force and the impact of a possible federal government shutdown on the university.
