As haumāna in the UH system, I have seen countless students form a deep connection to who they are as they obtain knowledge from courses rooted in ʻike 麻豆传媒 that include moʻolelo about the achievements of their kūpuna, the bounty of their ʻāina, and the truth of their past that they have never heard before. These cultural moʻolelo then become a significant part of their individual stories, which I have witnessed change the trajectory of the lives of many of our students.
