All ʻ?lelo of the Week
“While I was eating lunch earlier this week I heard two students conversing completely in ʻōlelo Â鶹´«Ã½ (Hawaiian language). It was so exciting to my ears! They are examples of ³ó´Çʻ¨±ô²¹ ʻōlelo Â鶹´«Ã½: reviving Hawaiian language. And they are a part of the ³ó´Çʻ¨±ô²¹ ʻōlelo Â鶹´«Ã½ lineage that carries on at UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹. This surely makes our k¨±puna proud.”
—Kaiwipunikauikaw¨¥kiu Lipe, Native Hawaiian Affairs Program Officer, University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹
