Holiday pies! Â鶹´«Ã½Maui culinary students serve up Thanksgiving treats

University of Â鶹´«Ã½ Maui College culinary arts students are busy baking 200 pies to sell for Thanksgiving.

The UH Maui College culinary arts program benefit features nine-inch pies:

  • classic pecan ($18.50)
  • pumpkin with fresh whipped cream and spiced sugar cookie decoration ($16.50)
  • grandma¡¯s old-fashioned apple with a double crust ($16.50)

Creamy pumpkin cheesecakes with graham cracker crust, cream cheese icing and spiced sugar cookie decoration ($28) are also for sale.

Pick up is on Wednesday, November 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the back door of the Bakeshop in the Pāʻina Building on the UH Maui College campus. Please use the Kaʻahumanu Avenue entrance and follow the signs to the pick-up location. For more information, call Douglas Paul at (808) 984-3684.
