University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at Hilo standouts Bria Beale and Sydney Gott are this week¡¯s Pepsi Athletes of the Week.
Beale had double-doubles in a loss to Academy of Art University on November 4 and a win over Fresno Pacific University on November 6. She led her team with 14 kills in both matches, and 12 and 18 digs, respectively. Beale was also honored as , finishing in the top 10 for Division II and top 30 overall.
Middle blocker Gott had 10 kills and hit .389 in the Vulcans¡¯ win over Fresno Pacific, and paced the team with five block assists. Against Academy of Art, she was also in double figure-kill numbers with 12, hitting a robust .500. She also had three block assists. On the season, Gott has started every match and is second on the team in block assists (41) and solo blocks (6).
