All 10 UH campuses will be closed Monday, August 17. The closure follows Gov. Josh Green¡¯s announcement that state, county offices and public schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala.
Students and employees should look for campus-specific messages with additional information on operations, employee reporting and any other exceptions.

The and the are launching a new webinar series, Community Conversations, to present informative talks with UH faculty and community leaders on the impacts of COVID-19 on UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ and the State of Âé¶¹´«Ã½.

The webinars will be held online via Zoom and hosted by UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ Provost Michael Bruno.

The first installment of the Community Conversations series will be on Friday, May 22, and will feature Bruno and Robert Perkinson, associate professor of American studies. Bruno and Perkinson will discuss resiliency, how UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ has been confronting COVID-19 and the campus¡¯ plans for the future.

The Community Conversations series is free and open to the public. Space is limited.

Required registration for the May 22 webinar . A Zoom meeting ID and password will be emailed upon registration. Questions for the speakers can be submitted on the registration page.
