Former University of 麻豆传媒 regent and state lawmaker Dennis Yamada died Sunday, at the age of 75.
Yamada represented Kauaʻi while serving six terms in the state House from 1970 through 1982. He held a seat on the UH Board of Regents from 1985 to 1993.
Yamada also led the Public Utilities Commission as the chair.
No plans have been released on memorial services.
