An estimated 80 elementary students from Oʻahu‘s recently participated in a field trip that included activities on ocean acidification and marine debris with the University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹’s .

Funding for the first through fourth graders was made possible through the ‘s Hoʻomānalowai grant, a partnership that provides science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) exploration opportunities.

Part of the excursion included a visit with UH President David Lassner to thank him for his support of their learning.
