
The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ and in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, are partnering to provide educational opportunities for Gachon students at UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹.
Gachon students will earn English language credits for participating in the Outreach College’s (NICE) 10-week program in the spring and fall semesters. NICE is known for its emphasis on building essential oral communication skills in English necessary for global communication. Additional groups of Gachon students will participate in shorter, customized programs also offered through Outreach College.
Signing the two-year memorandum on August 24 were UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ Interim Chancellor and Outreach College Dean , and Gachon President Gil Ya Lee and Dean of the Office of International Affairs Kyoungjin Choi.
This agreement reflects a continuation of Outreach College’s relationship with Gachon University that first began in 2012. As part of this new agreement, the college is offering two scholarships to qualified Gachon students to attend UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ as visiting international students for one semester.
