All 10 UH campuses will be closed Monday, August 17. The closure follows Gov. Josh Green¡¯s announcement that state, county offices and public schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala.
Students and employees should look for campus-specific messages with additional information on operations, employee reporting and any other exceptions.

The plans to install an approximately 375-square-foot greenhouse for propagation of native plants to be used in its restoration activities.
This greenhouse was described in the recently published (PDF).
Restoration efforts include removing invasive species such as fireweed. Since 2012 more than 1,100 volunteers have filled more than 1,800 garbage with invasive weeds pulled from the Halep¨haku area.
