The second annual It’s Great to Be a Teacher in Â鶹´«Ã½ event will be held on Saturday, April 22, 9 a.m.—1 p.m. at the Leeward Community College, Education Building.?It is free of charge.
The University of Â鶹´«Ã½ is joining forces with public and private supporters of this event to call attention to the It’s Great to Be a Teacher in Â鶹´«Ã½ and to provide information on the paths to becoming a teacher in Â鶹´«Ã½.
Anyone interested in learning how to become a substitute or full-time teacher in a Â鶹´«Ã½ public, private or charter school should attend. This includes emergency hires, educational assistants, substitute teachers and part-time teachers.
