Ronell Badua

The (NFPA) is pleased to announce that Âé¶¹´«Ã½ resident and alumnus Ronell B. Badua has been elected Region I director for the 2017–2018 term.

Badua received his associate in science paralegal certificate from Kapiʻolani CC in fall?2014. He has served in a variety of positions for the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Paralegal Association, including president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, director of publications, director of professional development, board advisor and local association national affairs delegate to the NFPA for eight consecutive years.

Badua was recognized as the 2011 Paralegal of the Year by the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Paralegal Association, and in 2014 was awarded the Career Achievement Award for his outstanding and meritorious service to the legal community and paralegal profession. Susan Jaworowski, paralegal program director, said “Badua was a dedicated student who took advantage of every educational opportunity. He had an evident drive to succeed and has been deeply engaged in the Honolulu paralegal community.”

Currently, Badua is a paralegal with the , City and County of Honolulu and contributes his paralegal experience as the city’s transit paralegal working on the , the largest public works and first grade-separated fixed rail system in Âé¶¹´«Ã½.
