
On Tuesday, September 27, the community will?celebrate with a full day of classes,?discussions?and?a movie screening.
Discussions will include “Andalusian Mystical Philosopher Ibn Masarra” by and a roundtable discussion, “What are the most pressing questions facing Muslims today?” with University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at Mānoa faculty and students. There will also be a movie screening The Mirror by Jafar Panahi. All events take place?at Kuykendall 101.

Islam Day (September 24) is a day of recognition for Islam and Muslims in Âé¶¹´«Ã½. It was established by a symbolic resolution of the State Legislature in 2009. Since September 24 falls on a Saturday this year, the UH Islamic Studies Program moved the celebration to the 27.
All events are free and open to the public.
