We will miss him, because I voted for him, we were all proud that he represented the state of Hawaii.

Although our student positions were not always the same, Mark always had an open ear to opposing positions & looked for meaningful ways of compromise in the goal of moving forward on student issues.
To his wife Sami & children; my condolences & prayers to all of you & heartfelt thanks in sharing your husband & father with all of us in this state. He had a passion for service to our state & country & did things the right way.
He was loved by many & respected by all who knew him. He was a good husband, father & passionate voice of the people of Hawaii.
