All 10 UH campuses will be closed Monday, August 17. The closure follows Gov. Josh Green¡¯s announcement that state, county offices and public schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala.
Students and employees should look for campus-specific messages with additional information on operations, employee reporting and any other exceptions.

Hawai?i CC event makes applying to college fast and easy

will host Express Admissions Day on Saturday, January 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Manono Campus in Hilo.

Express Admissions Day is the fast and easy way to apply for the fall 2016 semester. Prospective students can complete an application; receive their MyUH student number; learn about financial aid; schedule the next steps in the enrollment process, such as academic advising, orientation and placement testing; and have their questions answered by Â鶹´«Ã½ CC representatives.

“Now is the perfect time to begin the enrollment process for fall 2016,” said Â鶹´«Ã½ CC Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Jason Cifra. “The financial aid priority deadline is March 1, so planning for college now is the best strategy for ensuring future success. Many scholarships use Free Application for Federal Student Aid information to determine eligibility.”
