Hi Helen,

You can go to the Pic-a-Papaya website at and download the free app. The website also has contact information if you’d like to email the researchers instead.

I live on Maui, Pukalani, and I have a papaya tree. I’m not sure what type of papaya it is. I got the seeds from family on Oahu. The fruit is quite large. I planted it last summe. I have a few fruit as most of the flowers have fallen off and the tree appears unhealthy, yellowish leave at bottom half. I’m not sure if my tree has a disease or not. Please advise me on what I could do to help my tree.

Mahalonuiloa,
Helen Self
