I had a lot of questions. The instructor who gave me the tour said upon completion of my tour “Why don’t you just rent out you home and return to the mainland” I got the impression she really didn’t want to teach. I’m currently taking classes at the community college. There a fraction of the price and they have better people skills. I already have a degree in General Education and I’m retired. I don’t think I’m asking for anything special. So 55 by 25 good luck. I don’t think you’ll reach it while this instructors working for the Â鶹´«Ã½system.

In order for these degrees to have any value we must have good jobs who are looking to hire these people. Even with Hawaii’s relatively low unemployment rate (versus the rest of the nation), there are still fewer good jobs than there are applicants. Having so many people go to college may be good for the Â鶹´«Ã½system, but will likely lead to a large proportion of people who are only able to make $30k/year and who will be saddled with student loan debt which may take them a decade to pay off.
