The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½, UH Mānoa, the and the signed an agreement on June 21, 2012 to define and improve the governance structure and organization of federally-accredited graduate medical training in Âé¶¹´«Ã½.
JABSOM and HRP will partner to establish a Council on UH Graduate Medical Education, which will allow for systemwide and strategic program planning in a single collaborative body. On July 1, Professor Naleen Andrade will assume the post of designated institutional official at JABSOM.

The board of directors of HRP, a non-profit organization, is comprised of JABSOM and?representatives?Queen’s Medical Center, Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Pacific Health, Kuakini Medical Center and Wahiawā General Hospital, which partners with the medical school in training post-graduate physicians in more than a dozen medical specialties or subspecialties.
Between the students studying to earn their degrees and the physician’s training to obtain their specialty or?subspecialty?training, JABSOM oversees the medical education of more than 500 health professionals per year in Âé¶¹´«Ã½.
