

The and Xcel have teamed up in the fight against skin cancer to host the t-shirt design contest.
The winning entry, which must inform and motivate young adults to help prevent skin cancer, will be featured on one of Xcel’s sun protective t-shirts.
With approximately 5,000 new skin cancer cases diagnosed every year, Âé¶¹´«Ã½’s youth are among those at greatest risk.?The I Love the Skin I’m In campaign highlights key prevention methods in reducing exposure to UV radiation by utilizing sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and sun-protective clothing, and by seeking shade.
The contest is open to all Âé¶¹´«Ã½ residents between the ages of 13 and 25. Entries must be received by March 31, 2012.
