{"id":525,"date":"2019-12-10T19:46:30","date_gmt":"2019-12-10T19:46:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/myuhinfo\/?page_id=525"},"modified":"2019-12-13T19:57:07","modified_gmt":"2019-12-13T19:57:07","slug":"advisee-list-fac","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/myuhinfo\/advisee-list-fac\/","title":{"rendered":"Advisee List"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"middle\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><em>(NOTE: Advisee lists are not available during regularly scheduled maintenance activities that occur daily between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Advisee List allows you to view information about students assigned to you as advisees <u>for the term<\/u>.\u00a0 Only students <em>registered <\/em>in the term will appear on your list. The students may change each term based on their registration status. If there\u00a0are any missing students\u00a0or\u00a0students\u00a0who should not be on your list, contact the advising coordinator at your institution.<\/p>\n<p>To access your Advisee List:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go\u00a0to <a title=\"MyUH\" href=\"https:\/\/myuh.hawaii.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MyUH<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Search for the &#8220;<b>Advisee\u00a0Listing<\/b>&#8221; task by entering text in the search bar, then ENTER.<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;<b>Advisee Listing<\/b>&#8221; task will appear in the Search Results section. Click on the task. You will\u00a0be prompted to login if you have not\u00a0already done so.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rteindent1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/sites\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/files\/images\/Advisee%20Listing.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You will see the following screen:<\/p>\n<p class=\"rteindent1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/sites\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/files\/images\/Advisee%20Listing%20Page_0.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Email<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/sites\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/files\/images\/email_icon.jpg\" alt=\"Email_Icon.jpg\" \/>\u00a0 The Email icon will launch your email program with the student&#8217;s hawaii.edu email address automatically populating the To: box.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Email your advisees<\/strong>\u00a0link or icon\u00a0at the bottom of your list will launch your email program with the email addresses of all of your advisees in the bcc: box.\u00a0 Caution:\u00a0 Some email programs do not accommodate large numbers of addressees.\u00a0 If your advisee list is long and you encounter problems, please work with your campus help desk for your campus email program.<\/p>\n<h3>Export Data<\/h3>\n<p>The Export Data\u00a0box at the bottom of your list\u00a0allows you to copy and paste your list of\u00a0advisees into a spreadsheet application like Excel.<\/p>\n<p>To export the data from your Advisee List<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scroll down to the bottom of the Advisee List to the &#8220;Export Data&#8221; window<\/li>\n<li>Highlight all of the text in the Export Data box by clicking in the box<\/li>\n<li>Copy the highlighted data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rteindent1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/sites\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/files\/images\/Export%20Data.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To paste the copied data into a spreadsheet<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open your spreadsheet application, like Microsoft Excel<\/li>\n<li>Click into the A1 field<\/li>\n<li>Paste the copied data.\u00a0 Adjust the width of the columns as needed or delete unwanted columns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"rteindent1\" style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/sites\/myuhinfo.hawaii.edu\/files\/images\/Excel%20Export.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The student&#8217;s primary and secondary curriculum and the institution\u00a0for the curriculum\u00a0with\u00a0other majors, minors, and concentrations associated with that program (maximum of two of each)\u00a0are displayed on the Export Data list.\u00a0\u00a0All of the majors, minors, and concentrations associated with the student&#8217;s curriculum\u00a0are displayed\u00a0via the Student Information (Stud Info)\u00a0link on the web Advisee List.<\/p>\n<h3>Links<\/h3>\n<p>Highligted links on your Advisee List will provide additional information about the student. The following links will take you to the pages displayed below.\u00a0 To return to your list of advisees, use the &#8220;Return to Previous&#8221; link or the back arrow on the tool bar.\u00a0 The &#8220;Return to Menu&#8221; link in the upper right will take you to the Faculty Services Menu.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/myuhinfo\/advisee-list-fac\/#name\">Student&#8217;s name<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0displays the student&#8217;s address and telephone number and access to the student&#8217;s email addresses.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/myuhinfo\/advisee-list-fac\/#info\">Student Info<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0provides curriculum information about your advisee.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/myuhinfo\/advisee-list-fac\/#holds\">Holds<\/a> &#8211; displays any holds your advisee may have.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/myuhinfo\/advisee-list-fac\/#scores\">Test Scores<\/a> &#8211; displays any test scores on file for your advisee.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/myuhinfo\/advisee-list-fac\/#hist\">Reg\u00a0Hist<\/a> &#8211; displays your advisee&#8217;s registration history.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/myuhinfo\/advisee-list-fac\/#goals\">Ed\u00a0Goals<\/a> &#8211; displays any educational goal information your advisee has entered.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawaii.edu\/myuhinfo\/advisee-list-fac\/#sched\">Sched<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;
