In a matter of minutes, your University of <span aria-label=\"Hawaii\">Âé¶¹´«Ã½<\/span> (UH) Username, your credit card information, and even your social security number could be in the hands of a criminal who is very eager to use your identity (and possibly your savings) to live life luxuriously&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2>Tips to Prevent Phishing:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Be vigilant about protecting personal information, such as your Âé¶¹´«Ã½username and password and your social security number. <strong>Never<\/strong> respond with any personal information (like your social security number) to an unsolicited email.<\/li>\n<li>Be careful when clicking on links, particularly when the link points to a website that does not begin with www.hawaii.edu or (something).hawaii.edu.<\/li>\n<li>Be safe, if you think you may have provided your Âé¶¹´«Ã½username and password in response to a phishing message, change your password immediately.
